If you have more than one project, we encourage you to submit it in multiple categories. Please note that only one unique submission will be accepted per category.
What we're looking for: Judging criteria
Our panel of judges will be looking for submissions that excel in the following areas:

Functionality: How scalable and well-utilized is Google Maps Platform within your project?

Purpose: Does your project solve a real-world problem and encourage repeated use?

Content & visualization: How creative and visually insightful is your application?

Technical execution & integrations: How well do you showcase and leverage Google Maps Platform features, possibly through automation or data integration?

User experience: Does your project offer a smooth, intuitive, accessible, and engaging experience?

One grand prize and twenty projects will be selected as winners and will receive recognition and exciting rewards:

How to participate
Submissions open May 20th, 2025, and close July 31st, 2025 on DevPost.
To submit your project, you will need to:

Join our Google Maps Platform Innovators program here.

Prepare a write-up describing your project, the Google Maps Platform APIs you used, and your experience building with them.

Create a short video (maximum 3 minutes) showcasing your project in action.

Provide a link to your live project.
